JONATHAN WU

Make-up artist Jonathan Wu relocated to New York City from his native Taiwan in 2013. Wu’s artistry quickly caught the attention of legend Pat McGrath and he began honing his skills under her direction. Immersed in international collections, fashion editorial and global advertising, Wu has developed his own unique aesthetic which sets him apart from his peers. Wu’s versatile work draws inspiration from Taiwan and New York City and this duality informs his choice of texture, color and placement. Wu’s editorial work has been featured in Vogue US and Vogue Taiwan, Elle Taiwan, and Harper's Bazaar. Wu has collaborated with top photographers including Theo Wenner and Alana Tyler Lutsky. His advertising clients include Nars, Laura Mercier, Lancome and Stella Mc Cartney and he has partnered with Chanel and Make Up Forever.
